Hiya!
A couple months ago I went kinda crazy on E.L.F makeup brushes and I bought 8 brushes because they were just so inexpensive, so I thought I'd share with you my opinions on them.
So first of all I'm going to start with the eye brushes, all of the black brushes are from the studio collection and each of them costs £3.75 and the white brushes are just the normal makeup brushes which cost £1.50 each. You can purchase all of these brushes from the E.L.F website.
Eyeshadow C brush
When I first saw this brush I thought it was quite big especially for my small monolid eyes but it's good for applying eye shadow to the eyes and for drawing the outer V on the outter edge of the eyes. Costs £3.75.
Small precision brush
I absolutely love this brush especially for lining the eyes and it's great for concealing, you can also use this for lining your lips.
Angled Contour brush
I don't really use this very often. On the packaging it says that it can be used to contour the eyes but for me it is just too big for that, I tend to use this to contour my face like the cheek bones and the nose. This costs £3.75.
Contour brush
I would love this brush more if it was smaller, it's a bit too big for the crease. However, sometimes I would use this to contour my nose or to conceal my dark circles, other than that I don't usually go for this brush. Costs £3.75.
Eye Crease brush
I love this crease brush! It's just small enough for my eyes but this brush sheds quite a lot however for only £1.50 it does an amazing job!
Smudge brush
This is my favourite eyeshadow brush, it's just great for applying eyeshadow to the lids and great for smudging eyeshadow on the lash line, it's also good for drawing an outter V onto the outter edge of the eyes. However, the biggest down fall of this brush is that it sheds a lot! On the other hand it is £1.50 so you can't really expect it to be of top quality.
Eyelash and brow wand
The reason why I wanted to try this brush because it received so many good reviews on MakeUpAlley but for me it's only a mascara wand on a stick and doesn't really do anything amazing. You can use this to brush your eyebrows and eyelashes. Costs £1.50.
And finally the one and only face brush that I bought from E.L.F
Powder brush
I use this brush to press sheer loose powder onto my face to set my makeup or to mattify my face when it looks oily. I wish the hairs on this brush was a lot short but overall it's still a very good brush however I tend to find that when I wash this brush it seems to loses its colour.
That is the end of my E.L.F brushes review. Overall I think E.L.F do really good brushes for the price that they are offering but brushes from the normal collection tend to shed a lot but my studio brushes don't shed at all. Also a final point all of the studio brushes are made out of anti-bacterial, synthetic haired taklon and they are suitable for powder, cream and liquid products which is a bonus!
Hoped this was helpful and we'll talk again!

Hello everyone haven't talk to you in ages!
This review is on the 'Rimmel London Glam Eyes Gel Eyeliner'. I have to say the reason why I wanted to try this product was because Superdrug had a 3 for 2 offer and I though the packaging of this eyeliner was really nifty, it's very similar to the packaging of some Asian brands. I bought mine at Superdrug for £6.49 and I got it in the colour Black 001 which I think is the only colour that it comes in.
The packaging of this eyeliner is made of plastic from top to bottom and it comes with a mini detachable brush which you can either store in the long lid or attach to the lid for an easy eyeliner application.
Although this eyeliner is very portable, I think the packaging is quite cheap I mean they could at least used glass for the pot and the mini detachable brush isn't useful at all, it doesn't fit on to the lid properly.
Moving onto the actual product, I found that this eyeliner certainly did not live up to it's name. On the packaging it says that it is a waterproof gel eyeliner, however I applied this to my waterline and the product did not stay on for long at all!

It is really easy to apply this gel eyeliner and it glides on very smoothly unlike the 'Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner' but it's not very pigmented and I find that the colour fades away quite quickly. Also, it smudges a lot.

In this photo I've done two swatches on my hand, the gel eyeliner on the left is the 'Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner' and the one on the right is the 'Rimmel London Glam Eyes Gel Eyeliner'. As you can see the Rimmel gel liner has more of a shiny finish
where as the Maybelline one is more matte. I've only done two swipes of the Maybelline gel liner but I've done multiple swipes of the Rimmel gel liner because it did not come out properly.
This is the pot that it comes in, it is very small and there's only 2g of product in the container, not worth the money at all.

Pros
- Glides on very smoothly
- Very portable
Cons
- Smudges a lot
- Not very pigmented
- Not a lot of product for the money
- Poor quality packaging
- Not waterproof
Overall this product was definitely a miss for me and I certainly would not be purchasing this again.
Hoped you all found this review helpful and I'll be talking to you guys again soon!

Hey Y'all!
I'm so excited to talk about the 'Skinfood Salmon Darkcircle concealer cream', yeah a real mouthful and it doesn't smell of salmon, thank goodness! I bought this on ebay for about £10 and this is in the shade #1 (I'm about an NC15), unfortunately it only comes in two shades (#1 and #2), so those of you with darker skin tones, you might want to find another product.
Firstly it comes in a plastic pot with a tin/plastic lid
The top of the lid has a brown sticker with a picture of a salmon and it has the brand and the product name on it as well
And this is what it looks like inside
My Opinion
It has more of a waxy consistency, rather than creamy in my view and I just love the peachy tone in this concealer, I tend to find concealers with peachy tones can correct the discolourations on my skin a lot better than those that looks like lighter shades of foundations. Overall I think this dark circle concealer is top notch! Definitely, one of my holy grail makeup items. It covers my dark circles very well, I find that patting the product onto my eyelids using my fingers create a more flawless look, rather than using a brush. One point I might add is that sometimes it could look a bit oily on the skin and I wished it came in a wider pot so that it is easier to get the product out.
Pros
- Creates a flawless effect and doesn't look ashy at all.
- Not very expensive.
- Covers dark circles very well.
Cons
- Tends to look a bit oily at times.
- Small pot - hard to get the product out.
- It only comes in two shades.
Love this product very much and I hoped this review was helpful!

Hello my lovelies!
Sorry for not posting any reviews lately, I've been quite busy but I want to share with you my recent blusher purchase which is the Sleek Blush BY3 in the Lace Edition. The Sleek Blush BY3 is a limited edition blusher which comes in different shades. So if you want to buy them I suggest that you go buy them promptly! They cost £9.99.
It comes in a small cardboard box like this
(taken with flash)
The outside of the case looks like this
It has the words "Sleek Makeup" on the front (taken with flash)
The inside looks like this and it comes with a mirror
Shades from left to right: Chantilly, Guipure and Crotchet (taken with flash)
Here are the swatches:
All of the blushers were only swiped once (Sorry for the bad photos!)
Shades from left to right: Chantilly, Guipure and Crotchet (taken without flash)
Pros
- They are super pigmented
- Inexpensive as there are 3 shades and each blusher have the same amount as the originals!
Cons
- They're limited editions!
My Opinion
I love these 3 shades very much especially on my pale skin, which is about an NC15. My favourite shade would have to be 'Crotchet' it's such a vibrant yet natural shade on my cheeks. I would have to say though that all of the shades in this palette are similar to the original sleek blushers, for example 'Chantilly' looks like 'Life's a Peach', 'Guipure' is similar to 'Rose Gold' and 'Crotchet' is a bit like 'Flamigo'. This was my first time purchasing Sleek blushers and I have to say they are super pigmented and worth the money!
I hoped this review helped you guys and sorry for not being up to date with my blogging!

Unii Palette review
Hi guys!
I really want to share with you my opinion of the Unii Palette which I'd bought a few weeks ago.
The Unii Palette costs £17.95 in the UK which includes delivery. Size: 15.5cm long and 9.2cm wide.
There are lots of different colours to choose from but I chose the one in Honey Suckle, which looks like this:
You can't see it very well in this picture but it does have some shimmers on the outside surface.
And this is what it looks like inside:
It also comes with:
Pros
Cons
Overall, I think it's a nice and sturdy palette as apposed to the Z palette but the price is just too steep for such a small product!
I hope this review had helped you guys and I'll post some more reviews soon!

It also comes with:
- a small adhesive magnetic sheet
- and magnetic thumb grip
Pros
- It's lot sturdier than the Z Palette, as it has a hard plastic case and a long plastic clasp to hold it in place, which is water proof.
- There's a built in mirror, which makes it convenient to put on makeup when you're going out.
- It's good that it comes with an adhesive magnetic sheet.
Cons
- £17.95 is a lot to pay for considering that the Unii Palette is about the size of my hand (and my hand is quite small).
- The actual built in magnetic palette is not very strong and I find that I have to move the magnets around certain places in order for it to stick properly.
Overall view
Overall, I think it's a nice and sturdy palette as apposed to the Z palette but the price is just too steep for such a small product!
I hope this review had helped you guys and I'll post some more reviews soon!

How to Style Bright Jeans
I've just came across this video and I'm in love with the outfits that have been put together! Bright jeans are really in and will be a defo hit for the summer. I love the use of colour blocking in the outfits and the simplicity of it that gives them that chic look <3 - Leilaaa xo
